Truman for Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

Anatomical landmarks are detailed and “real feel” rib cage offers realistic resistance during CPR. Correct hand placement during chest compression is detected electronically and confirmed on console. Compression depth and effectiveness of ventilation are displayed. The ideal rate of ventilation can also be determined. Rate of compression is output to the monitor display allowing real-time feedback on technique.

Truman for Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) Training

The inbuilt AED trainer simulates the approved AHA/ERC scenarios. Truman is designed to interact with the range of pre-programmed scenarios. Successful completion of the AED scenarios will result in activation of the carotid pulse. The Truman AED trainer is designed as a universal teaching aid providing an understanding of the standard functionality of AEDs.

Truman for Airway Management

Truman features the unique AirSim airway providing a life-like and anatomically accurate representation for training in oral and nasal intubation. The airway is compatible with the full range of current supraglottic devices. Truman has been designed to facilitate full head tilt, chin lift and jaw thrust. Ventilation is possible using pocket masks and bag-valve-mask techniques. Successful ventilation will provide a visible and accurate representation of chest rise and fall.
