Looks and feels like a reusable blade

Callisto has a rigid metal spatula that is indistinguishable in profile and design to a reusable blade. It not only looks like a reusable blade, it feels like a reusable blade.

Its high impact plastic block allows low cost production, without compromising on rigidity or strength. It is also colour coded to easily distinguish it as being fully compatible with the ‘Green Spec’ fitting and marked with the blade profile and size.

It has three ball bearings that not only provide secure fitting to compatible handles with a reassuring ‘click’, but also allow repeated re-application for the same patient or for testing (i.e. crash trolleys, kit bags).

Exceptional light transmission

An innovative, thick 4mm plastic fibre core has been engineered to provide exceptional light transmission. When used with powerful XL Optima handles, Callisto blades provide the brightest illumination of any disposable ‘Green Spec’ disposable blades currently available.

Clear Visualisation

The position of the light guides at the tip of the blade allow clear visualisation of the airway, without obtrusion from the light guide or bulb as in some poorer systems
