LMA PacMed attended this year’s Australian/New Zealand College of Anaesthetists ASM in Perth with a dramatic new booth format featuring a high tech audio visual equipment to deliver key messages in a video format. The primary focus of the meeting was to provide educational material based around the NAP4 report & this was achieved via video presentations from Chris Frerk, one of the co-authors of the NAP4 study. These videos were complemented by video messages from key Australian clinicians who delivered their own perspectives of NAP4 in respect of implications for Supraglottic airway devices.
The booth also featured the novel “talking heads” video concept where clinicians and patients deliver key messages regarding the NAP4 recommendations on request when prompted by the delegates.
The ANZCA ASM features a strong educational workshop programme and this year was no exception. The LMA PacMed team were on hand to support the video laryngoscopy sessions providing the attending delegates with educational support on the A.P. Advance™ Video Laryngoscopy System
